Can you bring an outside caterer to Coronado wedding venues?

Yes, several major venues in Coronado allow for outside catering. For example, the Hotel del Coronado offers special packages for couples. These plans help pairs who want to bring their own expert team to meet specific food needs. Other spots like the Loews Coronado Bay Resort may also let you use your own chef. You should always check the current rules with your venue before you sign a deal.

How far in advance should you book wedding catering in Coronado?

Most top catering teams in San Diego suggest booking six to twelve months before your big day. Coronado is a very busy spot for weddings, mainly from April through October. Choosing your chef early means they will have the staff and time to make a custom menu. If you plan a winter or weekday wedding, you might have more luck with a shorter wait.

What is the average cost of wedding catering per person in San Diego?

The cost for expert wedding catering in San Diego often runs between $75 and $200 per guest. This rate depends on the type of service and the food you choose. According to Gather by Oren, the median wedding cost in the area is about $19,386. Full-service plans that include setup, service, and cleaning will usually be at the high end of that range.

What does full-service wedding catering include in Coronado?
